Research Objective: Compare irrigation frequency and rate on development and yield of late soybeans.
Treatments:
 1. Irrigate daily each morning except when rainfall occurs in the previous evening or night. Apply 0.25 in until pods are present.
 2. Irrigate every third day except when following rain then on the third day after rain. Aplly 0.75 in until full pods are present.
 3. Irrigate every third day except when following rain. Apply 0.4 in until full pods are present.
 4. Irrigate every seven days except when preceded by rain Apply 1.75 in.

Basic Crop Management: PLANTED - 24 Jul 1981 (rows 0.6m apart); HARVEST - ; TILLAGE - Moldboard Plow (30 cm deep plus smoothing and bed shaping), wheel traffic controlled at 1.2 m centers; FERTILIZATION - Typical Extension Recommended Rate; WEED & PEST CONTROL: Typical Extension Recommendations.
