Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow
The Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow of UGA (ACT/UGA) was formed in the fall of 1997 as a chapter of the American Association of Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow. The organization helps students broaden their knowledge of agricultural communication outside formal studies and provides an opportunity for leadership and contact with professionals in agricultural communication.
UGA Collegiate FFA
The Collegiate FFA at the University was formed on March 6, 1930. The mission of the group was to see that agriculture and education were taught efficiently throughout the state. The UGA Collegiate FFA is open to all students interested in agriculture. Former members of high school chapters are also encouraged to continue their membership at the collegiate level.
Alpha Tau Alpha (ATA)
The Alpha Psi chapter was established in May, 1996, at The University of Georgia. The main purpose of the chapter is to be an honorary society at the University of Georgia for Agricultural Education Students and will be a silent partner in the UGA Collegiate FFA.
UGA Rodeo Club
The purpose of the Rodeo Club is to promote the sport of rodeo along with academics. It is open to all students regardless of major and previous rodeo experience. We'll take cowboys and cowgirls who compete on the professional circuit right along side those who want to learn how to rodeo and even those who just want to be involved without actually competing themselves. If you want to learn, we'll teach you.
