1. In China: Study on agrobacterium-mediated transformation of grape stock variety 99R with AtNHX1 and CodA Gene. An effective system regeneration system of a grape variety of ‘99R’ was developed in this study so as to lay the foundation for transformation of grape. Agrobacterium-mediated transformation was adopted to introduce a salt-tolerant gene named AtNHX1 and a CodA gene into ‘99R’, and new transgenetic salt-tolerant grape germplasm was obtained. In this research, factors that can increase the efficiency of grape regeneration and transformation were discussed systematically, and the major technique parameters of agrobacterium-mediated transformation in grape were optimized, which finally led to the development of an effective transformation system.
