"… thank you for enabling me to be a part of the incredible TAPAC program. The experience was very eye opening and beneficial in many ways. "For most of Sunday we just lounged around on the beach at Platamona soaking the last few rays of Greece into our bodies so that we can take it with us to the States. It was weird how solemn I was throughout the day at the thought of leaving Platamona. My feelings were intensified by the thought of finally leaving this wonderful country behind completely. But to me that is what this program is here to teach us not to do: we should learn to keep the thoughts, ideas, and mentality with us for life to help us prosper and make more educated decisions in life with these ideals. Even with this mentality it still left us with such a quiet train ride back to Volos. You could see my thoughts plainly imprinted across my face, disappointment of leaving."
